THIRSTI: OFFICIAL WATER PARTNER OF THE ABSA CAPE EPIC

Leading bottled water brand THIRSTI sign to cycle side by side with the Absa Cape Epic for three years.

Riders will have their thirst satisfied fast as the event will be liberally supplied with THIRSTI’s Still, Sparkling and Flavoured drinks.

The 2021 Absa Cape Epic will see the entire field of world class professionals and passionate amateur mountain bikers hydrated by THIRSTI Water with the bottled water brand concluding a three-year agreement as the 8-day race’s Official Water partner.

This iconic event, scheduled to take place from 17-24 October 2021, is the largest and most televised full-service mountain bike stage race in the world. As the riders grind their way through 655 kilometres, inclusive of over 15 550 metres of climbing, each will welcome the thirst-quenching Natural Spring Water harvested from the Klein Drakensberg.

Strategic water points on route will enhance the riders experience as they traverse scenic fynbos valleys, majestic mountains, spectacular coastlines and historic towns. Typically, the race houses 1300 riders, of which roughly 48% are international participants, 71% are CEO’s, Directors or Senior Executives and 53% are business owners.
